Part II Who Am I and What is My Purpose Here
Feeling the Truth – The Road Less Traveled
What difference does it make what road you travel upon in order to get to your higher self, or the God within, as long as you get there and live a much happier and satisfied life, emanating your energy back out to the universe for all to receive.
Someone out there is counting on you.
As mentioned in Part I, none of what I write is meant to demean religion, as religion does indeed help millions, assisting in guiding many towards leading a contented spiritual existence.
My focus here is on helping the many that are lost aimlessly trying to fill the void created by their lack of never ever finding their true and spiritual higher self
…all because religion was never their intended road to travel upon in the first place.
Perhaps just like myself, those that were stopped at the door of religion may have simply needed to know that SPIRITUALITY IS THE WAY, ANYWAY.Click To Tweet
Remember this from PART I? Religion historically has played the part in interpreting the higher energy of the universe and the energy inside ourselves.
Who interpreted the higher energy of the universe and the energy inside of ourselves in the Bible and other sacred books around the globe? Do we know for sure? Do we know their purpose for doing so?
It does not matter.
In order to utilize this interpretation written within the pages of these sacred books, effectively, one must first find their own higher selves, realizing that God lives within us, and is not a superhuman out there flying around up in the sky somewhere.
Only then can one access the full power within to recognize light when it’s seen, felt or heard.
And only then can children go forth, believing in themselves fully, ultimately becoming all that they can be, without shame.
One might think that this way of thinking is already commonplace to everyone around the world.
If so, then why are there so many out there still lost?
Those individuals who are lost need to hear this. If you have a friend, relative, son or daughter share with them this spiritual key to unlocking their full potential.
Everyone has their own road to their higher self, their true spiritual freedom from flesh or ego, whatever you want to call it, and that’s ok, as long as they recognize the God within themselves.
Many of us who have walked on this road less traveled, desire to shed light on the fact that there is another path to your higher self, to the enlightenment that we all crave.
We’re aware that it’s limiting to blindly follow something on the outside, while something on the inside is telling you, “it’s just not right.”
But there are religious leaders still to this day who threaten that there is only one way to spirituality.
This is simply not the truth.
Like politics lead by non-career politicians, those of us who lead no congregation have nothing to lose, nor nothing to gain. We simply share our experiences to save others from the shame that those with something likely to lose, cause. And by something to lose, I mean financial gain.
But one’s argument for religion is not always about financial gain. It may simply be their undying belief imposed upon everyone and that is called control. We’re all aware that historically, it was religion that was used to control the masses.
The shame that it has caused, costs millions of lives.
When I was young, with all my heart I wanted to be a good person and I wanted to know where my place was in his eyes. This is what society taught me.
No one can be a good person if they do not believe in God?
We all have known people in our lives who did not believe in God or the Bible or any other sacred scripture, and they were very caring, very good people, probably more so than some who attended church regularly. It is because they found the God within themselves. They were spiritual people and that is what guided them. That’s all that really matters – simple.
A life full of turmoil at best, until we understand that God indeed lives within each of us from the very moment we are born, we will be a society filled with unrest.
And therein lies the problem of humanity. Religion tells us to look outside of ourselves, asking God to solve all our problems.
Spirituality tells us to look inside, changing the man or woman inside to bring forth happiness and content for ourselves and the world around.
It is up to you to learn how to feel the energy and to follow it always finding the real truth in everything. You have none other to trust except for yourself. What do you feel? Follow the energy. Feel it inside of you. Recognize it outside of you.
It wasn’t until much later in my life that I could begin to understand and allow the Bible, as well as other works of our world’s religions, to help guide me deeper into spirituality.
I first had to get over the shame that I had felt because of religion, or rather how it was imposed upon me, as it is imposed upon nearly everyone, in some way either spoken or non-spoken, from the moment they are born.

Today I am able to see the light in parts of every religion from around the world and feel its energetic impact that it carries. But I am not religious. I am a spiritual being connected to what energy I find in these religions, as I am connected to all energy, through the God inside of me.
A Simple 10 Minute Exercises to Help Build Your Awareness of Your God Inside. Soon, You Will Begin to Recognize Light (or real truth) When it Appears Before You, in any place, at any time.
- Try focusing on one or two different areas of your life that you would like to see changes in and practice building your awareness muscle of your own God inside. I say one or two as more will overwhelm you. By doing this exercise daily, you will eventually see results and realize that you can move mountains if only you believe, in YOU.
- Be patient and be persistent and BELIEVE. It’s that simple.
- During your daily walk or regular excise routine, practice breathing in and out, slowly and deeply. Envision those parts of your life that you would like to change going exactly as you intend to create it, one by one, see those areas in your life falling into place. Feel it, see it, act as if it had already happened.
I prefer meditating while moving, as I am not one to sit still very long. At times, I use beautiful inspirational music that I know was made from one that created it with his or her God inside, music that is just too beautiful to have been created otherwise.
Focusing on those same thoughts, envision them while lying in bed, just before falling asleep. Really feel what it would actually feel like to have those areas in your life change just as you want them to.
Repeat these same actions above now while cooking, cleaning, doing laundry or other mindless tasks.
Write yourself notes or tie a string around your finger if you have to, to remind yourself to exercise daily.
Things will begin to change for you in time. Believe. Know. And acknowledge YOUR light within. Trust.

Below is some of my very favorite music for meditation. I find it hard to relax at times. These beautiful tunes take me to that special enchanted place that we all have. That place that allows us to see.
Listen while on your way to work or driving around town, taking that late afternoon walk or working out in the gym. Learn to have a more spiritual and fulfilling life now.
